Anti-wrinkle injections or Botulinum toxin (Botox) to most people was FDA approved in 1989.  Botox is a purified protein.  Wrinkles and fine lines develop over time by the repeated contraction of facial muscles.

Micro-needling

Micro-needling is a non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment designed to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles as well as scars, acne, deep pores, stretch marks and pigmentation problems.  The treatment uses fine needles that are rolling styled cylinder onto the face and body that is moved onto the skin to create tiny, evenly spaced puncture wounds.

What happens in this treatment?

Every Microneedling treatment starts with a  consultation.  Your skin is double cleansed and an advanced peel is added to your skin to remove the top layer of your skin and deeply exfoliate your skin.  An antiseptic is sprayed onto your skin.  A hyaluronic acid based serum is used along with the micro-needles to penetrate the serum into the layers of your skin.  Kate our Advanced aesthetics practitioner will determine the serum used to suit your skin.

A tightening, soothing and hydrating mask is then added to your skin.  Enjoy a neck, Shoukder and arm massage whilst the mask is on.  A balm and spf is then added to your skin.
